Before moving into higher education he spent several years in operations management and continues to have a successful consultancy practice. He has held previous appointments at Bath and Warwick Universities.
ALEX HILL is a Principal Lecturer at Kingston University (UK), an Associate Fellow at the University of Oxford (UK) and a Visiting Professor at the University of Pretoria (South Africa). Prior to moving into university education, he worked extensively in industry and researches and consults in a wide range of service and manufacturing organisations.
